Artist Statement:

I make paintings as an inquiry into being, time, and the fragility of presence. My work begins with curiosity and moves through layered surfaces, where texture becomes a record of thought, memory, and impermanence. I am drawn to the tension between order and collapse, visibility and obscurity, matter and meaning.

With each mark, I explore how a human life is both fleeting and insistent—how we leave traces, how we endure, how we search for form in uncertainty. Influenced by chemistry, philosophy, and the lived complexity of experience, my paintings hold space for contradiction. They are not answers, but encounters: with change, with silence, with the uneasy beauty of existence.
