Artist Statement:

The most prominent driving force behind my work is the curiosity towards what it means to be a 'being'. A word used by many and its notion widely known, yet the definition of 'being' lacks ontology and is shrouded in contingencies. Intent of my paintings are to make apparent of the notion of 'being' in hope to aid in its dialectical movement towards deeper understanding.
